An Obituary

Colorful, a male betta fish. Adopted into a Musing family on December 26, 2006. Died while his owner was out shopping for a light for his tank on December 27, 2006. Leaves behind one loving owner and her two sisters, mom and dad. Is remembered for his beautifully colored body, for which he was named, and the way he liked to swim on the dark side of the tank. He was the first pet adopted into a Musing Family. His owner plans to honor his memory by acquiring another betta tomorrow. Any tips for betta care can be made by commenting on this blog.

Oh no!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The llama family has yet to acquire any pets unless you count a few ants in a jar that lasted less than 10 hours. Oh, and a cardboard dog. No fish advice here, but better luck next time!!!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Want a dog? You can have our dog. He's a very good dog. I was talked in to getting the dog and although he is a good dog, I am just not a dog person. The boys love him, me? I can do with out. I should've gone with a fish! Just kidding about giving away the dog, the boys would kill me!

Sorry to hear your fish went over to the dark side of the tank. Once they go over to the dark side the results are a bit predictable.

You know what they say: "This little light of thine you've got to let it shine.......let it shine all the time let it shine." Don't know if that works for fish, but it sounds cute when sung in three-part harmony.
